Through lived experiences and characters she’s created, Nashville musician Maya de Vitry reclaims her story in her second solo album, How to Break a Fall. These 12 stunning songs are the result of what she calls “an interior reckoning,” both as an artist and as a woman. Produced by Dan Knobler, the project brings together de Vitry’s folk roots with the revelations of rock ‘n’ roll. The studio band is comprised of Courtney Hartman (guitar), Ben Tanner (piano, organ), Ethan Jodziewicz (bass) and Jason Burger (drums), with de Vitry and Knobler on guitar as well.
