Karan's last album 'Songlines' has rightly been a consistent seller for Fish Records over the past two years, and this release looks likely to be equally evergreen. Karan (ex lead singer of Solas) has a powerful and pure voice; expressive and clear - the perfect instrument for delivering the traditional Celtic songs that make up the majority of this album. Excellent interpretations and instrumentation combined with her superb voice make for an engaging disc.
