This third release from Lucy finally delivers the potential that has been evident on her previous albums. She is an expressive singer, with an unmistakable gentle voice and delivery style. The production on the album is very discrete, Lucy’s voice is clear above the mix and her guitar work easy to follow. Once again she demonstrates the ability to express her emotions clearly and effectively through her songs. There is a good mixture of styles and a natural pace to the album, it all seems to end far too quickly (42 minutes), but you want to listen to it all over again. The promo CD suggests 4 tracks to listen to, but this album is so consistent they could have picked any of the ten tracks. Her best release yet by a long way.
