Emerging UK singer/songwriter Enan may still be making her name over here, but she’s already had excellent exposure in the US with a support slot on a Roger McGuinn tour. 
‘Moonlight’ is a self-released 5 track CD single of real quality – the most obvious feature is her striking voice; breathy and smooth, but still crystal clear – a distinct combination.
Rather than the usual singer/songwriter acoustic guitar based songs, this is a little more sophisticated, the arrangements are intricate, individual and restrained – the detailed guitar and piano work provides the perfect backdrop for the refined and memorable melodies.
This is an excellent single, the five songs show Susan to be a real talent with an approach and sound that sets her apart from most contemporary singer/songwriters and it’s only a matter of time before an established label signs her up. Don’t miss out on this self-released disc.
