This album from 1993 acts a showcase for this sextet of performers - although they are all well known in their own right, rather than performing as a group the album comprises of tracks performed by individuals with the occasional supporting help from the other artists. This leads to a varied and entertaining mix of songs with traditional, self-penned and covers all sitting together. As you'd expect from the list performers, the album is brim full of great tracks and some exceptional performances, they are all obviously performing tracks they enjoy and have chosen themselves. Kathryn Roberts' cover of Tracy Chapman's 'Baby Can I Hold You' and Kate Rusby's covers of Mary Chapin-Carpenter and Nanci Griffith tracks are the pick of the album.
