Alison is an artist who has had major success in the fields of country, bluegrass and popular music, and on this, her eighth album she has produced and album that doesn't quite fit in any of those categories. The album is melody-driven acoustic music topped with Alison's soft, gentle and understated voice - it's a classy and laid back combination that works well from start to finish. Her choice of material comes from a wide spectrum, from a 70's Todd Rundgren ballad to contemporary tracks - it provides the band with some great source material to work with; the band are exceptional and Jerry Douglas' dobro playing is particularly worthy of note. "....Forget About It shows that Krauss is still a star on the rise...."
