While ‘Delirium Tremolos’ may be a little quieter than most of Hubbard’s output over the years, it’s by no means a peaceful album - there’s still plenty of electric guitar to compliment his weathered but warm vocals.
The disc contains ten tracks that are a mixture of his own material and interpretations of songs from contemporary writers; these covers make up the majority of the disc and he tackles material from some of the best writers around including Eliza Gilkyson, Slaid Cleaves, James McMurtry and Rod Picott.
Gilkyson and McMurtry guest on their own tracks, and other contributors include Patty Griffin, Kimmie Rhodes, Ray Bonneville and Ian McLagan.
