Following on from a hugely successful support with Seth Lakeman in October 2006, West Australia’s Carus Thompson has released a superb double live album' Acoustic at the Norfolk' in the UK.
'Acoustic at the Norfolk' was recorded at an extraordinary show in Fremantle, Australia and features 25 tracks. This release features Carus either solo or accompanied by longtime collaborators Dave Johnson (harmonies, mandolin) and Adam Gare (violin). Superbly recorded by legendary engineer James Hewgill (The Waifs) it highlights Carus and his songs in their most raw and engaging state, this is a superb collection of captivating songs that are both honest and beautiful.
