Fish Records Mailer - Issue 36 (Sep/Oct 2005) Late summer normally sees new releases beginning to pick up after the break for June and July, so we usually see a decent amount of strong albums around but this year the list of albums is exceptional – new albums from established artists such as Dar Williams, Kate Rusby, Richard Thompson and Gretchen Peters sit alongside gems from new singer/songwriters Louis Ledford and Rachel Ries. Every album in this mailer really deserves it’s place, and this is one of the strongest and varied collection of discs we’ve featured….hope you find something of interest amongst them. |
