Fish Records Mailer Issue 24 (Apr/May 2003)

The wonderful start to 2003 is continued in to the Spring with an excellent set of new releases from both established and new names to our catalogues.
The discs from Stephen Fearing, Dan Bern and Kreg Visselman are three of the best discs you could wish to hear – anyone of them could have been the lead review, and these discs should be seriously considered by all fans of quality singer/songwriters. Add to this strong discs from Richard Thompson, Martina Sorbara and Cheryl Wheeler, and it all makes for a fantastic selection of albums. Enjoy!


Stephen Fearing – That’s How I Walk

This is Canadian Fearing’s sixth solo album, and although the previous five have all been well respected and ‘solid’ albums, this is the one where everything has come together – the songwriting and musicianship are.... full review

Amy Rigby – Til the Wheels Fall Off
