Fish Records Mailer Issue 11 (Oct/Nov 2000) Welcome to the Oct/Nov issue. Late summer always brings the best releases of the year, and this year is no exception. This mailer has the best selection of discs we've ever had in one issue; from the superb Dar Williams disc down, all the albums reviewed are the best in their respective fields. There's nothing here that would be out of place in anybody's collection, but the Chuck Brodsky and Oh Susanna albums are worthy of special note, in any other month any one of these could have been the lead album. |
